The Fonthill Lions Club recently held a BBQ to raise funds to help offset some of the many costs incurred since Faith Flagg was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident. The BBQ was held at E. L. Crossley School where the students and staff supported it greatly. The co-operation at the school was fantastic, starting with Principal, Karen Simpson, and on down. Everyone was so helpful. The BBQ and donation bucket took in $1,756 after expenses. On November 17th, a cheque from the Lions was presented to Sharon and Wyatt Flagg. At that time, a cheque for $500 was presented from the Fonthill Lioness.
