The Fonthill Lioness say THANK YOU to the people from the area who attended and the local businesses that donated to us for their generous support of all of our fundraisers. It is because of your generosity that we were able to donate over $11,000.00 this year.
Pelham Cares, Pelham Library (for large print books), Town of Pelham Day Camp, NHS Welland site, Urgent Care, Wellspring Niagara, Eye Care Niagara, Homes for the Deaf, EL Crossley and Notre Dame scholarships for a Pelham student that excels in volunteering and Women’s Place were all recipients of $500.00.
Receiving $300.00 each were Lions Camp Huronda (Diabetes), Camp Dorset (Dialysis), Camp Trillium (Cancer), Lake Joe (blind), Lions Effective Speaking, Lions Youth Exchange,FACS. Hospice Niagara received $400.00, Crohn’s & Colitis $200.00, Alzheimer’s $100.00, Lions Foundation Of Canada (toward the purchase of another Canine Vision dog) and finally $1,500.00 to the Fonthill Lions Club.
